Isaac Lerma

(Training Director and Senior Marksmanship Instructor)

Isaac spent six years in the US Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, four of which he spent qualified as a marksmanship instructor and a sniper. Isaac graduated from US Army sniper school and the Special Forces Sniper Course, and deployed on three combat tours as a sniper to the Middle-East. He also received training from multiple distiguished organizations including Accuracy 1st, the Army Marksmanship Unit, and Northern Red Training, and competed in several nationally recognized competitions, coming in 1st place in the inaugural Real World Sniper Challenge in March, 2019. Isaac has also spent 3 years as a Squad Leader in the Texas National Guard, further adding to his tactical experience by allowing him to train and operate with multiple local and state law-enforcement agencies, as well as federal agencies such as the DEA, US Border Patrol, and Homeland Security. He continued to hone his marksmanship skills by competing in local pistol matches and attained his Governor's Twenty Tab on his first attempt at the Texas Adjunant General's rifle match.  

 

Zach Nelson

(Lead Gunsmith and Firearms Instructor)

Zach spent four years in the US Army's 75th Ranger Regiment as a Squad Automatic Rifleman, Team Leader, and Reconnaissance Sergeant and was qualified as a Ranger Markemanship Instructor. After getting out of the army in 2017, he attained a degree in gunsmithing from Trinidad State, and became certified through the NRA as a chief range safety officer, as well as an instructor for everything from basic rifle to personal protection inside the home. Zach is also an experienced competitive shooter accross multiple disciplines such as USPSA, IDPA, and 3-Gun, and is the match director for his local USPSA affiliated club,
